Project Spotlight: USAID/Turkmenistan Governance Support Program

Q2 Impact’s Rachel Benavides (pictured center) and colleagues Mehdi Nuriyeva (pictured right), Finance & Operations Manager, and Zuleyha Achiloba (pictured left), M&E Specialist, visit the Turkmen Carpet Museum in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Rachel is the Project Lead for Q2 Impact’s USAID/Turkmenistan Governance Support Program (GSP), a project that provides technical expertise, training, and material assistance to the Government of Turkmenistan (GOTX) to strengthen governance accountability, effectiveness, and transparency.

This project is a follow-on to the USAID/Turkmenistan Governance Strengthening Project, which Q2 Impact implemented from September 2010 to March 2015. GSP continues to promote national reforms initiated by the government through a mix of strategic technical and capacity building assistance activities, including training, study tours, and short-term technical assistance.
