Q2 Impact Earns Two Year Extension for USAID/Egypt SIMPLE Project

Q2 Impact is excited to announce that we have received a two-year extension on USAID/Egypt’s  Services to Improve Performance Management, Enhance Learning and Evaluation (SIMPLE) project.

SIMPLE was originally a five-year contract for USAID/Egypt with the goal of improving and supporting performance management on all levels.

Since 2015, Q2 Impact has served as a trusted monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) advisor to the Mission, conducting 15 evaluations and assessments, reviewing 39 Activity Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Plans across all of USAID/Egypt’s assistance portfolio, and leading 23 capacity building activities for USAID and its partners.

Q2 Impact is currently supporting the development of the Mission Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by facilitating strategy and design sessions, conducting research and assessments and advising on the performance management structure.

The next two years will be a valuable opportunity to focus on the implementation of the new CDCS and to orient SIMPLE services to better integrate USAID’s focus on Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA).

The COVID-19 Pandemic is changing the way USAID approaches performance monitoring and evaluation. Q2 Impact will assist USAID/Egypt to adapt to the needs to increase remote monitoring and related changes to MEL Plans and activities.
