Q2 Impact Participates in 2016 SID-W Annual Conference

Thanks to the Society for International Development, Washington D.C. Chapter (SID-W) for hosting another great annual conference! With the theme, “Achieving Impact: Sustainability, Scale, & Inclusion,” this year’s conference brought together development professionals representing the private sector, NGOs, think tanks, consulting firms, government agencies, multilateral institutions, universities, and others, all actively engaged in international development.

Q2 Impact’s Executive Vice President and Chairman of the SID-W Board Byron Radcliffe provided a warm welcome and introduction to the conference, which aptly opened the event for many insightful conversations.

During the breakout sessions, Q2 Impact’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Director Ami Henson participated as a panelist in the highly-attended “Developing and Using Applied Knowledge to More Effectively Counter Extremist Violence” panel session, along with key panelists from USAID, U.S. Department of State, and Mercy Corps.

For the lunch segment of the day, Q2 Impact’s Deputy Director for Learning Jennifer Dahnke led an interactive roundtable discussion on “Knowledge Management: Building Capacity for Sustainability,” where participants shared lessons learned and KM best practices.

Throughout the event, Q2 Impact’s Global Recruiting Manager Veronica Blankenship represented the company in the exhibit hall, imparting information about Q2 Impact and meeting prospective candidates. Overall, it was a great day of networking, thoughtful dialogue, and provocative knowledge exchange.

Looking forward to next year!
