As a holder of a master IDIQ contract under the International Technical, Operational and Professional Support Services II (ITOPSS 2.0) contract, Q2 Impact worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve health outcomes worldwide. Through the award of task orders, staff are placed in CDC country offices and country ministries of health, and provide technical assistance and expertise in a number of areas within the global health sector to support CDC’s efforts to eradicate and control dangerous diseases, achieve immunization goals, improve laboratories, and strengthen national health systems.
Q2 Impact staff worked to promote HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, surveillance of influenza and other infectious diseases, immunization activities, laboratory services and infrastructure, field epidemiology and training, and overall health systems strengthening under the ITOPSS 2.0 contract. Under this IDIQ,
- Q2 Impact fielded and supported 33 technical staff members in 18 countries under 18 different task orders for CDC.
- Q2 Impact supported Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETP) and related activities in 11 countries.
